Travel startup Passprt Trips has raised $500K in a pre-seed funding round led by Aroa Venture Partners. The proceeds will be used
to enhance the company’s product, grow its traveler community, and expand operations to 20 destinations across APAC and the Middle
East over the next three months.
Founded in 2023 by Ujjwal Garg and Manoj Rai, Passprt Trips offers a personal travel advisor platform that helps users discover,
plan, and book holidays with real-time assistance. The startup is building a vertical AI stack for travel, leveraging
community-contributed data and a deeply integrated supply network. Its platform unifies the fragmented travel journey—from
inspiration and planning to bookings and on-trip support—into a single interface, offering hyper-personalized and flexible travel
solutions.
Aroa Venture Partners, which led this round, had launched a new fund in February last year with a target corpus of Rs 400 crore
(~$50 million). The firm has previously backed companies such as Unacademy, Urban Company, CRED, Pine Labs, Magicpin, MPL, and
Cars24.
